Welcome to the Magical World of Dogtown Days!
Dogtown is a real place within the present-day cities of Gloucester and Rockport on Cape Ann, Massachusetts. During the times of the Salem Witch Trials (@ 25 miles away), Dogtown was home to many of the founding families of Cape Ann. Among them were my ancestors, the Day family.
The Dogtown Days trilogy is a fictitious story told against a historical background and set in true geographical locations. Follow the time travels of young Robert Penney Day as he struggles to end an ancient family curse affecting the Days and their nemesis, the powerful wizard Edwin Burns Pickering. The story is mostly fiction but the themes are universal: How far would you go to protect your family? If your neighbor were persecuted, what would you do?
